Brent Stephens, assistant professor of architectural engineering in Armour College of Engineering’s Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department, presented the opening session at a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine meeting on June 20 in Washington D.C.

The focus of the meeting was to discuss the microbial communities present in build environments.
