Donald Chmielewski

Associate Professor Donald Chmielewski was awarded the Bauer Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award by Illinois Institute of Technology Provost Alan Cramb during the 2015 Faculty Recognition and Awards Reception on April 9, 2015.

Chmielewski joined the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2006. He is a ChBE representative for the University Faculty Council, as well as faculty advisor to the Illinois Tech section of AIChE. He received both his Ph.D. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and his B.S. from Illinois Tech. His areas of expertise are advanced process control and fuel cell system design and control.
