Mahesh Krishnamurthy, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Armour College of Engineering, and his Ph.D. student, Alejandro Pozo Arribas, were named the recipients of the Best Paper Prize at the 2016 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC) for their submission, “SiC BJT Proportional Base Driver with Collector-Emitter Voltage Measurement and a Switching Regulator.” The paper was selected for the prize out of over 130 papers presented at the conference based on the technical quality, write-up, and significance of the topic.
