Mehdi Modares, associate professor in the civil, architectural, and environmental engineering department, contributed to the Eighth International Conference on Reliable Engineering Computing (REC 2018) held by the Institute for Risk and Uncertainty at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom in July 2018. The conference focused on computing with confidence. Modares served as the session chair and presented two papers on structural condition assessment and construction scheduling using uncertainty analyses. The Sixth International Conference on Reliable Engineering Computing (REC 2014) was held at Illinois Tech in May 2014 which he organized, hosted, and chaired. For more information, click here.
