Mehdi Modares, associate professor in the Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Department at Armour College of Engineering, presented and chaired a session in the 7th International Conference on Reliable Engineering Computing (REC 2016) held at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, in June 2016. This conference was focused on computing with polymorphic uncertain data for which, he presented a work on condition assessment of structures using imprecise probability. The 6th International Conference on Reliable Engineering Computing (REC 2014) was held at Illinois Tech in May 2014 which he organized, hosted, and chaired.
