Mehdi Modares, associate professor and associate chair for graduate affairs in the Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Department has been elected a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). ASCE fellows have made celebrated contributions and developed creative solutions that change lives around the world. The ASCE fellow status is held by 3 percent of ASCE members.
