Eric Brey

Eric Brey, Duchossois Leadership Professor and professor of biomedical engineering was recently awarded the Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine International – Americas (TERMIS-AM) 2015 Educational Award. The award is given based on the educational accomplishments of an individual within the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Brey’s research is focused on the engineering of vascularized tissues and the application of new tools for imaging and assessment of engineered tissues. His educational research involves the development of innovative outreach programs for broadening engagement in biomedical engineering, tiered mentoring programs in research programs and building ethical cultures in research.
The award will be given to Brey at a special Gala Dinner at the Museum of Science in Boston on Tuesday, September 8, coinciding with the 2015 TERMIS-AM Conference.
