Armour College of Engineering Student Sean Hahn Receives Max Zar Scholarship

Sean Hahn, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering – Masters of Structural Engineering Co-terminal Degree Candidate was named the recipient of the Max Zar Scholarship by the Structural Engineers Foundation. The scholarship, dedicated to Armour Institute Alumnus Max Zar (CE, ’38), provides a $2,000 award to outstanding senior undergraduate students majoring in engineering.

Hahn is a very active student, pursuing a co-terminal degree, is President of the Armour Chapter of Triangle Fraternity and Vice President of the IIT American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter. In addition to receiving the Max Zar Scholarship, he also has been selected to receive one of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) – Associated Steel Erectors (ASE) scholarships for the upcoming school year.
