Sara Glade (ChE, 5th year) was awarded the Illinois Section American Water Works Association (ISAWWA) Safe Water Scholarship. ISAWWA awards scholarships each year to fulfill it’s mission to educate the general public on the essential functions and importance of the water industry, the water cycle and water treatment, and the career paths in the water industry. She was awarded the scholarship at WATERCON2015, the ISAWWA Conference that was held March 23-26 in Springfield, Ill.
