Athletics Weekly: February 1-7

Prior to Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7, Illinois Institute of Technology Athletics has plenty of big games of its own for the coming week. Five Scarlet Hawk teams will be in action, with Men’s Basketball headlining the week with three contests.

Men’s Basketball gets the action started with Illinois Tech’s only home game of the week on Tuesday, February 2. The Scarlet Hawks host St. Mary’s (Minnesota) for Residence Life and Pizza night at 7 p.m. in the Keating Sports Center.

Illinois Tech also plays road games this week on Thursday, February 4 (at Maranatha Baptist, 8 p.m.) and Saturday, February 6 (at Monmouth, 3 p.m.). Live video and stats are available for all events on the Men’s Basketball schedule page. Live audio will also be provided courtesy of Illinois Media School for the home game on Tuesday, February 2.

Women’s Basketball has a lighter schedule this week, as just one game is on the calendar. Illinois Tech will travel to nearby Lake Forest College on Wednesday, February 3 for a 7 p.m. match. Live stats will be available for the contest.

After a busy weekend in Iowa, Men’s Volleyball hits the road once again for a pair of matches. The Scarlet Hawks will travel to Adrian, Mich. to take on Siena Heights at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 4 before going to Erie, Penn. to face Penn State-Behrend on Friday, February 5 at 6 p.m. (both times central).

Both games will have live video and stats. Links are available on the Men’s Volleyball schedule page.
