FirstNet, built with AT&T, and the AT&T Believe Chicago* initiative will host a public safety hackathon Friday, October 19 at 6 p.m. through Saturday, October 20 at 9 p.m. at the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship. With FirstNet, the wireless communications ecosystem dedicated to first responders, law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel have access to reliable and highly secure data connections.
Now we’re looking for creative developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and students interested in hacking for public safety solutions. By hacking for public safety mobile apps, you can mature your ideas, get involved in an exciting community, and create something to further the greater social good.
