Attention 2014-2015 Graduating Students: Commencement Ceremony Response Form Deadline February 16

grad_avatar_15_100x100All students (undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D.) who are eligible to graduate in Fall 2014, Spring 2015, and Summer 2015 are welcome to participate in the 2014–15 Illinois Institute of Technology Commencement ceremony, which will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, on IIT Main Campus. IIT hosts one commencement ceremony per academic year each May.

Please check your IIT email address, or forward your IIT email to a personal email address and visit the Commencement website  for updates regarding next steps in attending the ceremony.

You must let IIT know you want to attend the Commencement ceremony by Monday, February 16 . You will receive reminders to your IIT email address starting in January 2015 asking you to fill out the Ceremony Response Form to attend the May 2014–15 Commencement ceremony. This form is not the same application you filled out to apply to graduate (Degree Conferral Form). This application is for the ceremony only. Even if you do not want to attend, IIT still needs to hear from you. The Response Form is now active and you may begin filling it out once you have applied to graduate. Please note: if you do not respond by the Monday, February 16 deadline, your guests may not be eligible to receive the same number of tickets as those students who do complete the Commencement Response Form on time.

Mark your calendar and plan to stop by Graduate Salute on either Monday, April 27 or Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from noon–7 p.m. in Hermann Hall Ballroom to get your cap and gown, pick up your guest tickets, and other fun stuff. If you cannot attend Graduate Salute, you will be able to pick up your cap and gown and guest tickets on the morning of the ceremony. More information regarding reserving your regalia for pickup will be sent once you respond to the Ceremony Response Form.
