Biology’s Kathryn Spink Elected to CAAHP Board of Directors

Kathryn Spink, director of pre-health professions programs and senior lecturer in biology, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Central Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (CAAHP) as a ‘Member at Large” for a three-year term. The 12-member board is elected by CAAHP members.

She has served as chair of the University Premedical Advisory Committee, which oversees and develops the pre-health program as a whole, and acted as the chief health professions advisor since 2005.

The CAAHP is a subset of the National Association of Advisors of the Health Professions (NAAHP), and is comprised of professionals from college and universities in the central region of the United States who are committed to the professional development of advisors of the health professions.
