IIT Online will be hosting weekly meetings open to faculty, TAs, and staff to discuss Blackboard-specific topics.

These sessions will be hosted on the Mies (Main) Campus, Stuart Building, Room 103 on Thursdays from 12:45-1:45p.m.

The first five weeks will cover:

• Thursday, February 4: Creating Assignments and Using SafeAssign (plagiarism detection)
• Thursday, February 11: Tests and Testing Security, including the Respondus Lockdown Browser and ProctorU
• Thursday, February 18: Using and Optimizing the Grade Center
• Thursday, February 25: Discussion Boards
• Thursday, March 3: Creating and Leveraging Groups

Future possible topics include: Retention Center; Communication/Notifications; Course Design/Structure and Content Reuse; Using Multimedia; Integrating Third-Party Applications and Resources.
