IIT Online will be holding training sessions for faculty, teaching assistants, and staff during the weeks of August 17 and August 24 covering:
- Blackboard Learn (course tools)
- Blackboard Collaborate (collaboration and conferencing tools)
An RSVP is not required but is appreciated to estimate headcount.
Sessions will address applications basics and focus on certain aspects of each set of tools (including some new testing security features). However, the agenda is designed to be highly responsive to the questions raised by the individual participants.
We encourage faculty who are new to using Blackboard to participate, but we also invite experienced faculty who have questions about specific features like the how to use Blackboard for tests, managing the Grade Center, or reusing content from course to course.
*Note: IIT Online is now a unit under the Office of Academic Affairs and provides support for these tools across the university independent of whether faculty are teaching online or not.*
All sessions will in Stuart Building, Room 103 and will last about an hour.
