The Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual event co-hosted by Illinois Institute of Technology, where undergraduates present their research, get free food, network, attend round table discussions, watch oral presentations, and meet other student researchers. The symposium takes place on Saturday, March 3 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. The symposium is completely free for undergraduate students.

CAURS is currently accepting research abstracts from potential presenters at the conference.  If you are an undergraduate who has performed or is performing research you can present, visit the CAURS website to view abstract submission guidelines.  The registration deadline for oral presentations is January 23, 2012, and the deadline for poster presentations is February 10, 2012.
