On Saturday, May 9, at approximately 2:13 p.m., IIT Public Safety responded to an attempted robbery of an IIT student at 32nd and State Street by two unknown males in their 20’s. The suspects left the scene heading northbound on State Street in an older model Black Jeep Cherokee.

If you are off or on campus, and in immediate danger, call the police by dialing 911. If you are on the Main Campus, you can also go to the nearest blue-light Emergency Telephone or call IIT Public Safety 808.6363. And program the number 312.808.6363 for IIT Public Safety into your phones.
