Informational Interviews Workshop
Where: Siegal Hall, Room 202
Description: An informational interview can give you a feel for what a career or company is like by learning from an employee’s daily activities, without the pressure so often present in a typical job interview. Career Services’ Informational Interviews workshop will cover how to ask for an informational interview, how to prepare, what questions to ask, and what you should do after the interview. An informational interview is one of the most valuable methods of gaining industry knowledge that is often overlooked. Join this workshop to learn more.

Friday, October 30, 2015
12:501:40 p.m.
Resume Workshop
Where: Perlstein Hall, Room 109
Description: Career Services staff members have looked at hundreds upon hundreds of student resumes. They know which ones will lead to successful opportunities within your particular industry, and which ones will go directly into the “circular file” (trash). If you know your resume needs help or haven’t had it reviewed by a professional before, this is a very good opportunity to get specific pointers on creating strong resumes from professionals in Career Services. If this is you, or if you are having a hard time getting your resume accepted in Jobs4Hawks, we will see you at the Resume workshop.
