Vice Provost for Admission and Financial Aid Mike Gosz is pleased to announce that Caryn Schnierle has been promoted to associate vice provost for enrollment management. Schnierle, who most recently served as the director of enrollment management research, has been integral in developing a culture of data-driven decision making in undergraduate admission and financial aid. In her new role, she will report to the vice provost for admission and financial aid, and will create and execute an action plan that effectively advances the significant undergraduate enrollment goals of the university.
Before coming to IIT in 2010, Schnierle was a senior research analyst and consultant at Human Capital Research Corporation, an enrollment management consultancy located in Evanston. She is a trustee at Mother McAuley High School in Chicago, the largest all-girls secondary school in the country, chairing the Academic Affairs Committee. Schnierle holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago.
