May 14, 2024Illinois Institute of Technology and Chicago Humanities welcome everyone from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, for a full day of programs, speakers and interactive installations. Attendees will entertain provocative ideas from more than 12 leading thinkers, icluding John Maeda, Ruha Benjamin, Caro Murphy, George Stephanopoulos, Kathleen Hanna, Jamaica Kincaid, and Walter Hood. -

Expect Road Closures in Loop in June and July Due to 2024 NASCAR Race
April 25, 2024Members of the Illinois Tech community who travel through the Loop may find commuting more difficult in the weeks leading up to and after the NASCAR Chicago Street Race, which takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 6–7, 2024, around Grant Park. Major streets that will be affected by crews setting up and breaking down the race course, as well as the race itself, include Ida B. Wells Drive, Michigan Avenue, Columbus Drive, and DuSable Lake Shore Drive. -

April 16, 2024The Office of Advancement invites you to a complimentary screening of Food Roots, which follows Emmy Award-winning restaurateur and Chicago-Kent College of Law alumnus Billy Dec (’99) in adventures through his mother’s native 7,641 Islands of the Philippines to learn recipes from his last living elders, confronting culinary and cultural treasures and family secrets. Q&A session with Billy Dec to follow. This program is complimentary but registration is required.
