CEA Reaccredits English Language Services for 10 Years

Lewis College of Science and Letter’s English Language Services (ELS) has been granted reaccreditation by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) for the period of August 2023 through August 2033. ELS has been granted a ten-year reaccreditation without any reporting requirements, which is the maximum reaccreditation a program can receive.

Being accredited signifies that programs and student services operated by ELS meet the 44 CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. ELS offers the Intensive English Program (IEP) serving full-time IEP students and pathway/CEG students, the English Language Program (commonly referred to as PESL) for undergraduate and graduate students, and English for Design in partnership with the Institute of Design.
