Celebrate Constitution Day

Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. Educational institutions that receive federal funds are required to hold an educational program about the U.S. Constitution.

This year’s Constitution Day event, “The Constitution and Political Polarization“, will be held on Wednesday, September 18 from 3–4:00 p.m. at Chicago-Kent College of Law (56 West Adams Street), Room 590. This event will feature Professor Steven Heyman, University Distinguished Professor Mark Rosen, Professor Christopher Schmidt, and Associate Professor Carolyn Shapiro. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Additionally, both the Mies Campus and Downtown Financial Aid Offices will honor the day with pocket constitutions and refreshments on each location respectively. Stop by on the September 17 to learn more!
