There is a new Certificate in AI Fluency available to all undergraduates.
Two of the courses for the certificate will be offered in the Spring 2027 term:
- CS180 Artificial Intelligence Foundations
- MATH123 AI for Computational Mathematics and Coding
Please check with your academic advisor about how these courses may count towards your degree program. Contact Academic Affairs aa@illinoistech.edu to officially add the certificate.

Collaboration with AI for computational math & coding
- Large Language Model Competencies
- Using AI as a native learning tool for computational math
- Using AI to code without fully understanding programmatic language syntax
- Developing both mathematical understanding and critical AI literacy
