Chicago Open Archives Event: Armour Mission to “Hippie Modernism,” Presented by University Archives and Special Collections

COA logo.pngOn Tuesday, October 3 at 1 p.m. the University Archives and Special Collections staff at Paul V. Galvin Library will discuss the history of Illinois Tech, from the founding of the Armour Institute of Technology and Lewis Institute through the 1960s, using materials from the collection.

Following a thirty-minute presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to browse materials including early wire recorders, photographs, projects, and academic catalogs from the New Bauhaus and Institute of Design, and Bronzeville community history materials.
