Cultivating Success through Student-Centered Learning

Whether you are new faculty or a seasoned instructor, these interactive sessions and discussions will help you help your students succeed. By the end of Summer Camp 2025, Illinois Tech instructors will be able to:

  • Use Feedback to improve future iterations/Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate student learning using exams, projects, and various assessments to gauge their progress and accomplishments.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Apply and adapt these strategies in different kinds of classrooms or modalities.

The summer camp will consist of 3 virtual sessions of 90 minutes culminating with the final, in-person Harvest Festival.

  • July 9, 16, 23 – 1:00–2:30 p.m., Virtual
  • July 30 – In-person Harvest Festival (includes lunch), 12:00–2 p.m., at the Center for Learning Innovation, Galvin Tower, 7th Floor.
