Co-Terminal Student Appointments

For all students pursuing a co-terminal degree, IIT has altered its financial aid policy for co-terminal participants in hopes of ensuring students are well versed in comprehending the financial regulations of co-terminal programs. Consequently, an additional tracking requirement for a Co-Terminal Statement of Understanding should now show up in your myIIT portal. This requirement will not prevent your institutional aid from disbursing.

The Office of Financial Aid is asking students receiving federal aid (Pell Grants, Stafford Loans, etc.) to meet with a counselor for a very brief session during the week of January 13, 2014 between 8:30 am-5 pm in Perlstein Hall, Room 206. After this meeting, students will be provided a Co-Terminal Statement of Understanding to sign. Financial aid will disburse shortly after your counseling session and well before your bill is due on January 27, 2014.

The Financial Aid Office is aware that not all IIT students receive federal aid. In order to ensure all students are informed of the parameters of institutional and federal financial aid, the office is inviting students not receiving federal financial aid to an information session on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 1-1:45 pm. The location will be determined later. By participating in this session, you will satisfy the requirement on your account.
