Community Engaged Research Coalition Meeting April 30

The Community Engaged Research Coalition (CERC) would like to invite everyone to the last meeting of the Spring semester on Friday, April 30 from 12:45 p.mm – 1:45 p.m. CERC brings together faculty whose research, teaching and practice aim to positively impact the lives of individuals, particularly communities of color on the South and West sides of Chicago. The coalition has been hosting monthly meetings in Spring 2021 to showcase the community-engaged research of Illinois Tech faculty, students, and staff, along with research activities and ideas of community partners.

Mohammad Heidarinejad will share a short presentation on his work with building energy management in diverse communities. We’ll spend the rest of the time discussing next steps for CERC, and strategies for deepening our research-focused engagement with our Chicago communities in the next year.
