Join MMAE Professor A.G. Ostrogorsky for a conversation with astronaut and scientist Lodewijk van den Berg on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Perlstein Hall, Room 225. Van den Berg will discuss his career as a scientist, experience as an astronaut, and conducting research in space with Illinois Institute of Technology students. Van den Berg will also discuss his participation in a collaborative project with Ostrogorsky and Illinois Tech researching semiconductor materials in space, with applications to the development of radiation detectors.
