A computer science seminar, “Effective Modeling in Computational Social Systems,” featuring Eunice Santos, Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas in El Paso, will take place from 12:45-1:45 pm on Friday, March 28, 2014 in Stuart Building, Room 111.
The seminar will focus on computational social systems and how to systematically represent socio-cultural factors, their infusion into computational models and simulations, a new paradigm for designing and analyzing the efficiency and efficacy of methodologies dealing with dynamic information, and application to real-world scenarios.
