Dean Lance Fortnow joined Illinois Tech most recently from his role of chair of the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech, and has held faculty positions at Northwestern University and University of Chicago. Dean Fortnow will give a brief talk about his background in computer science and his vision for advancing science and computing at Illinois Tech.

A short lecture will be followed by open discussion and light refreshments.
