Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Professor David Arditi was inducted into the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) College of Fellows at the CMAA National Conference held in Las Vegas on October 29, 2013. Arditi, who is also Director of Construction Engineering and Management, was honored last week by his CMAA-IIT Chapter members.

He is the first academic inducted into the CMAA College of Fellows. Arditi was one of the founders of the Greater Chicago Regional Chapter and currently serves on its Board and is the long standing advisor of the CMAA-IIT Student Chapter.

The Fellows designation is one of CMAA’s highest honors, conferred upon industry leaders who have made significant contributions to their organizations, the industry and their profession. The goals of the College of Fellows include representing a diverse community of thought leaders that lend their knowledge and insight to the strategic issues facing the industry and profession, identifying and developing future leaders, and taking an active role in CMAA.
