The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Friday, ­March 6, from 12:45-1:45 pm in Siegel Hall, Room 118, featuring guest speaker Dr. Guillermo Atkin, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology.

Title: Physical Layer and Physical Layer Security – The Road to 6G.

Atkin will talk about advances in wireless communication systems have been at very fast pace and seems not to slow down. 5G has not been completely deployed but proposals and research for 6G are already underway.
