The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Friday, November 11 from 12:45-1:45 p.m. in Siegel Hall, Room 118, featuring guest speaker Ren Wang, PhD. Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology, for a seminar titled: Practical Attacks and Defenses in Machine Learning Systems.

Title: Practical Attacks and Defenses in Machine Learning Systems

Dr. Wang will talk about the fact that machine learning systems have been used for a wide range of applications. However, the lack of robustness has resulted in ever-growing concern over how people can trust these models in applications that require high security.
