Engineering Undergraduate Student Dissemination Award now accepting abstracts

Are you an undergraduate student performing Operations Research related work? The Institute of Industrial & System Engineers (IISE) encourages undergraduate students to submit their work for the Operations Research Division Undergraduate Student Research Dissemination Award, a competition featuring cash prizes held annually at the IISE Annual Conference.

The purpose of the award is to recognize scholarly work as well as the ability to effectively communicate results from an undergraduate student or student team. The winner will be chosen based both on their ISERC paper and presentation.  Thanks to generous sponsorship by the University of Arkansas and the Rochester Institute of Technology, the award includes a monetary prize of $400, $200 and $100 for first, second and third place respectively.

Abstracts are due by November 8, 2019. To be considered for the competition, students should email Thomas Sharkey (sharkt@rpi.edu) with the abstract ID stating that they wish to be considered. More competition details will be sent once their abstract is accepted. The paper submission is currently due January 20, 2020.
