English Language Services Welcomes New Students for the Intensive English Program (IEP)

0 IEP Group_MG_0063 T-comp.jpg English Language Services welcomed its first cohort of 10 students for the Intensive English Program (IEP) on May 22. The students—representing China, Korea, Japan, and Turkey—will be studying English full-time this summer. The semester kicked off with an orientation, which was an exciting day filled with getting-to-know-you exercises, a tour of the campus, and a preview of all the benefits of the IEP and Illinois Tech. Many of these students will be moving on to undergraduate and graduate programs in the fall. The IEP is a promising opportunity for the university to increase enrollment and further diversify its student population.
