Exploration Space Open House

Celebrate Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 6 from 1–3 p.m. in the Exploration Space at Paul V. Galvin Library. During this open house, the library will debut its Silhouette CAMEO 3 electronic cutter. Visitors will have the opportunity to print out custom text on adhesive vinyl for free (supplies are limited). Sample projects from the Idea Shop will also be on display and advisors will be on hand to discuss how students can use the Exploration Space to prototype projects for manufacturing in the Idea Shop. Light refreshments will be provided.

The electronic cutter cuts vinyl, paper, and cardstock for creative projects including: vinyl decals, window clings, heat-transfer designs, lettering, logos, paper art, greeting cards, and more. Using the cutter is free. You just need to bring your own materials. Acceptable materials include: vinyl, paper, and cardstock.
