Faculty and Staff Encouraged To Attend IPRO Day as Judges or Guests

Illinois Institute of Technology faculty, staff, and professionals from the Chicago area are invited to serve as judges or attend the Spring 2015 IPRO Day on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Hermann Hall.

The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program organizes multidisciplinary teams of undergraduate students to apply their creativity to complex, open-ended projects to tackle the challenges of our times. Guided by faculty members from diverse fields, IPRO teams span new venture development, product and process innovation, urban systems and manufacturing revitalization, renewable energy and sustainability, urban agriculture, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and community engagement.

Spring 2015 IPRO sponsors and community partners include Motorola Solutions Foundation, Sargent & Lundy LLC, Tempel Steel, Mi-Jack, Electrical Contractors Association of Chicago, Adler Planetarium, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana and the South Metropolitan Higher Education Commission.

ThisĀ event is the culmination of IPRO team work through interactive exhibits. Over 120 IPRO teams will showcase their accomplishments. IPRO Day is now one of the “Freshman 15” events.
