Faculty and Staff Encouraged to Join Spring 2018 IPRO Day Judging Panels

The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program organizes interdisciplinary teams of undergraduate students to apply their creativity to complex, open-ended projects that tackle the challenges of our times. Guided by faculty members from diverse fields, IPRO teams span new venture development, urban livability and manufacturing revitalization, renewable energy and sustainability, urban agriculture, sports science and technology, STEM education, community engagement and public safety. Spring IPRO sponsors and collaborators include Motorola Solutions Foundation, Sargent & Lundy LLC, Exelon/ComEd, Metra, Digibilt, Streetscape USA, Bronzeville Urban Development, Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago, the Field Museum, Hubbell, Inc., and American Red Cross.

The IPRO Day event is the culmination of IPRO team work through interactive exhibits. At the spring 2018 IPRO Day Showcase on Friday, April 20 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. in Hermann Hall, 60+ teams will showcase their accomplishments.

Illinois Tech faculty, staff, alumni, and professionals from the Chicago area are invited to serve as judges and welcome to attend as guests.
