Faculty and Staff Welcome on IPRO Day Judging Panels

Illinois Tech faculty, staff, alumni, and professionals from the Chicago area are invited to serve as judges during IPRO Day and welcome to attend as guests on Friday, April 22 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Hermann Hall.

The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program organizes multidisciplinary teams of undergraduate students to apply their creativity to complex, open-ended projects to tackle the challenges of our times. Guided by faculty members from diverse fields, IPRO teams span new venture development, digital services and product design, global challenges of health and well-being, public safety in the urban environment through big data science, renewable energy and sustainability, home and office hydroponics, STEM education and community engagement. Spring IPRO sponsors and community partners include Microsoft, Motorola Solutions Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Sargent & Lundy LLC, Electrical Contractors’ Association of Chicago, Imani Village 95th Street Development LLC, Adler Planetarium, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana, South Metropolitan Higher Education Commission, and The 606.

IPRO Day is the culmination of IPRO team work through interactive exhibits. Teams comprised of 700+ students from all undergraduate programs will showcase their accomplishments.
