Illinois Institute of Technology’s 155th Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Credit Union 1 Arena, located at 525 South Racine Avenue in Chicago. This year there will be two separate, combined college-level ceremonies, and at each of these ceremonies degrees will be conferred for three of the university’s colleges. Each ceremony will also have a unique set of honorary degree recipients and Commencement speakers.
Illinois Tech’s Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10, 2024, in Hermann Hall’s McCormick Auditorium beginning at 3:30 p.m.
- The combined ceremony for the Institute of Design, College of Architecture, and College of Computing will begin at 9 a.m.
- The combined ceremony for Armour College of Engineering, Lewis College of Science and Letters, and Stuart School of Business will begin at 2 p.m.
- The college ceremony for Chicago-Kent College of Law will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at UIC Forum.
Please RSVP for the ceremonies and to reserve your regalia no later than Friday, March 29, 2024. Your response is requested even if you own your own regalia or do not plan to attend.
