As a result of last month’s faculty/staff survey, the Athletics Department will now be offering two fitness classes for Illinois Institute of Technology faculty and staff members only.
Yoga
Tuesdays from noon-1 p.m. starting on Tuesday, March 24 in the IIT Tower Fitness Room on the sixth floor.
This class emphasizes breathing and correct posture through movements and holding poses. Yoga is a practice that involves both the mind and the body. This class welcomes all levels.
Cardio Strength and Toning
Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. starting on Thursday, March 26 in the IIT Tower Fitness Room on the sixth floor.
This class is designed to give you a cardiovascular workout while toning your major muscle groups. This is a great total body workout.
Classes are free.
There is no registration necessary. Simply show up at the IIT Tower Fitness Room at the designated days/times above.
