Pat Johnson-Winston, director of academic writing and thesis examiner, Graduate College, and Charles Uth, senior engineering librarian, Paul V. Galvin Library, are partnering to offer the following Thesis and Dissertation Workshops:

Thesis and Dissertation Workshop II: Online Research via Galvin Library

12:15–1:15 p.m.

OR

The first workshop will provide an overview of topics related to document design, formatting, library resources and research tools, bibliographic styles, plagiarism, and copyright guidelines.

The second workshop is a hands-on interactive session designed to introduce students to methods for accessing Galvin Library’s online publications and best practices for conducting online research.

Each workshop is offered twice to accommodate as many students as possible; students may attend more than one session. The workshops are primarily for students who are either beginning the thesis-writing process or who have more writing to do. However, anyone may attend.
