FDSN Seminar Series: ‘Launching Careers—Navigating Transitions with Effective Career Development and Networking Strategies’

The Department of Food Science and Nutrition presents its spring 2024 seminar series featuring guest speaker Kalyani Narayanan, technical project manager at DohlerGroup, who will give a presentation on “Launching Careers—Navigating Transitions with Effective Career Development and Networking Strategies.” This seminar will take place on Thursday, February 29, from 12:45–1:45 p.m. over Zoom.

Abstract

This seminar is specifically catered toward finding a job after graduation, and my experience of living and working in the United States and Germany.

Bio

Kalyani Narayanan is a technical project manager at the DohlerGroup who is a passionate food process engineer with a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in food process engineering. She brings more than eight years of research and development experience in the food industry, specializing in process development, product innovation, and project management across various sectors. Her journey is fueled by a dedication to the artistry of crafting delightful culinary experiences, from concept to execution.  She brings a global perspective, having gained valuable experiences working in both the U.S. and Germany.
