Construction activity for the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship will begin Monday, March 6. Access to Federal Street from 31st to 33rd Streets will be limited. Please note the following changes.
Federal Street Traffic Access
31st Street will provide vehicle access to the B2 parking lot only. Use 33rd Street to access the lots B6, B5 & B3. Pedestrian traffic will be supported from both entrances.
Parking Lot Changes
The B5 lot will be divided into two areas: B5 for Flex permit holders and B5V for visitors utilizing the pay station. B5V will be the first two rows adjacent to Hermann Hall. B5 permit parking will be the west half of the parking lot.

Shuttle Bus Changes
The morning northbound shuttle will reroute from the current 32nd and Federal (Hermann Hall) and 31st and Federal Street stops. After IIT Tower, the shuttle bus will continue via LaSalle Street and stop on the northeast corners of 33rd and 31st Streets. All current scheduled timings will remain. The afternoon, evening, and late evening routes will continue to use Federal Street.
