The Food Science Club will host a forum featuring John Hammerstone, director of chemistry, Illinois Institute of Technology’s Institute for Food Safety and Health, on Monday, March 27 at 5 p.m. in Perlstein Hall, Room 131.

Hammerstone will discuss heart-healthy chocolates and their health benefits. Chocolates and refreshments will be available. Before joining Illinois Tech, Hammerstone worked 30+ years at Mars, Incorporated as a senior research manager.
