On August 1, 2015, Frances Bronet officially began her term as senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Illinois Institute of Technology. Previously, she was acting provost at the University of Oregon. A distinguished scholar, teacher, and researcher as well as an experienced administrator, she earned her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Engineering degrees from McGill University.
