Visit the McCormick Tribune Campus Center Bridge on Thursday, February 27, 2014 for the Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day. This event — complete with free food and prizes — is designed to show generosity to IIT alumni and friends who support scholarships, provide new lab equipment, and fund building renovations.
Stop by from noon-2 pm to create thank-you cards, sign a thank-you banner, and record a short thank-you video. Participants will receive a raffle ticket for each station they complete and can exchange their tickets for prizes—earn all three tickets, and you’ll be entered in a raffle to win dinner for two at Nana, a Bridgeport favorite.
But the fun doesn’t end at lunch. Join us at 5 p.m. for the 2014 Student Gift kick-off and Lousy Bowling tournament in The Bog. Even those who are lousy bowlers can win at Lousy Bowling, since the object of the game is to knock down as few pins as possible without using the gutters. We’ll have free food, prizes, and trivia games, with a faculty/staff/student tournament from 5-7 p.m. and student tournament from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
