Join Edward Scott, co-founder of Think Aloud UX, for “User Testing: An Introduction and a Demonstration with Edward Scott” on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, Room C25. IIT Chicago-Kent is located at 565 W Adams Street in Chicago.
“User experience” (UX) is a frequently heard term these days but it often means different things to different people. This presentation will focus on user experience testing, which refers to the process of testing a prototype website or application with representative users. Testing doesn’t have to be a long, difficult, drawn-out process, and this presentation will get attendees started with preparing their first UX test. We’ll discuss what UX testing is, provide an overview of how UX testing is conducted, offer a demonstration of a UX test, and offer reasons why it’s important, from design and business standpoints, to conduct testing.
