The VanderCook College of Music undergraduate Jazz and Percussion Ensembles will present their fall concert on Thursday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. at 3125 South Federal Street. The concert will feature works by Stanley Turrentine, Leonard Bernstein, Robert Johnson, Hoagy Carmichael, Gordon Goodwin, and others. Special guests the Plainfield Central Percussion Ensemble will also perform. Admission is free. The National Band Association at VanderCook College of Music is also holding a food drive for St. James Food Pantry. There will be a bin at the entrance for anyone to place boxed or canned goods. All support is greatly appreciated during this wonderful time of giving.
