The Fulbright 2015–16 competition is now open. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects as well as English teaching assistantships abroad. Special awards exist for students in the applied arts or business initiatives. Students in STEM fields are in demand in many countries.
During their grants, Fulbrighters meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country sharing daily experiences. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think.
To be eligible, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree by Fall 2015, but must not yet have obtained a doctorate degree. An applicant must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application. The campus application deadline is Monday, September 15, 2014.
